Rants about the nothingness called life…

Thursday, December 24th, 2009

Hm…  So because of the case that no one reads these, it makes me feel better in more ways than just getting stuff off my chest, but the fact that also, I shall feel I made some point with making no point whatsoever making myself feel mildly accomplished some magical mystical way.  I don’t really know where to start, and I honestly don’t think I’ll be at all accurate about anything, because… well… this is a rant, it’s not suppose to be anything that some ugly yelling and screaming about things I don’t like and things I think and feel, which, no one cares about other than me, and it only bugs me, therefore is enough reason to get it out, because, I am just so amazing that I don’t care what other people think about my thoughts anymore since, no one cares anyways.  So…  I’ll just go with whatever I feel like and will continue under that notion (I guess that’s how to put it).

FIRST!  Voting.  I don’t really know what the whole deal is with voting, which apparently makes me evil.  So…  you vote for who you wants to represent you in congress, and president, and governors, and such.  But, really you don’t vote for the president, your electors do, who we apparently vote for o.o;;.  But!  Then they technically vote however they feel like and glance over at the little peoples votes as suggestions, just like how most drivers view the speed limit as a suggestion (and other traffic signals).  Now…  Why can we vote on the president as a suggestion, but it doesn’t actually count?  Hm…  I know usually the electoral college votes the way the people do, but like…  Are they really needed?  Honestly, I don’t know, just asking, but then, asking questions is what makes people evil right?  Oops, I asked another.  I once saw the news people interview an elector, and he said he honestly doesn’t care how the people vote and votes the way he believes is best (in the words of that one famous guy “Democracy doesn’t work because people are too stupid to know what’s best for them,” which I honestly see as true yet sad and not really… well nice.  Then again it was worded much more nicely when he said it…  I forget who he was though, I just know I like the quote.).  So what if other electors feel this way?  Are they able to contact each other?  Are they bribed by presidents who run?  Like why is it we laugh at the “all people are created equal, some more equal than others” thing when we raise people above us to make decisions and take what we say as a “suggestion.”  Also, they did this thing on some talk show thinger where they asked people who they voted for, presented that person, and asked them if it was because of the promises the person was making, but when they presented the promises they gave the promises of the other runner, and the people fought against the person they voted for pretty much.  Which also shows that even though I’m evil for not voting because I believe I don’t know enough to vote, that people who are voting, just vote because they feel like it (well the talk show was actually trying to raise awareness of the increase in the black community increased voting rates when Obama ran for president, and that most people voted based off appearance (which also was like a research thing done by psychologist to see if “the one that looked more appealing” would get more votes between Bush and Kerry (Don’t get me on spelling I don’t care x.x))).  But then also more stuff, other than that, we vote for congress men and women to represent us and stuff, but then why is it like “Well he’s a senator, his father was a senator, his father’s father…” like down the line?  And why are so many of the senators you hear about rich?  Like this guy owns one of the biggest orange farms, or this guy own the majority of dairy farms, or something.  How in the world is a rich guy gonna know how to represent me, when he isn’t even in my position?  The way that our country works is the rich get richer and the poor get poorer unless some miracle thing happens that some guy is either super smart or super stupid and it ends up being great that he makes millions and hits richman road or something.  Why does a millionaire need millions?  He doesn’t.  Money you have, is like the speed limit (lol), it’s recommended you don’t spend what you don’t have ya know?  But, people do it anyways, and then we have all that foreclosure stuff, people losing everything, declaring bankruptcy, having bad credit, and all that other stuff.  Now, it doesn’t seem like that bad of a thing, cause the banks are still there and all, but then!  It happens to so many people at once, people gamble money, and ZOMG!  Economic crisis (it’s more complicated than that), but yeah something something like that, and we all blame the banks, and everyone else, but like, why didn’t people be more frugal, banks should have been like “Maybe we should lend money to this guy who wants to buy a mansion while working at the golden arches part time” and people should be like “Well maybe, I can’t afford this and should just save money” (BTW!  So many people complain about scams like “buy a new computer at $30 a week for 12 months and get better credit!” and it’s a crappy $50 dollar computer and they complain…  how about the saying, “if it’s too good to be true, it probably isn’t true!”  There’s no get rich quick scheme and stuff (well maybe there is…), and like, maybe…  maybe…  if you just google it, you would have noticed something (and googling stuff solves so many problems instantly!  SO GOOGLE IT NOOB gah…)) like, yeah, and maybe people building houses should stop and think that there aren’t that many people to buy houses…  Other than that, rich people, don’t need all that money, poor people don’t need 50” plasma screens, and if everyone tried staying legit (specially you business owners with your schemes of get rich quick) AND STOPPED GAMBLING (bigger the risk the greater the profit my asmar), maybe, just maybe, we wouldn’t have all these problems.  (Hm… another point about the economy, Marx said this would happen lol, that capitalism leads to overproduction and that leads to recession and to get out of recession we either bubble up another industry or something else that seemed violent…  I forget…  But also he brought up the fact that workers produce too much, that we overpopulate, and some other stuff, I think machines taking our jobs and stuff like that and the rich man stays at the top, and the poor guys get pushed farther down).  BUT BACK TO SENators or whatever, congress people, I think that there should be like a “THIS DUDE MUST BE AVERAGE” or something, sure he might not be as well educated, or from a good named family, but dude, he’s your every day average joe.  He’s going through the same stuff as everyone else, when recession hits, HE’S ACTUALLY HURT BY IT x.x, does the rich guy get hurt?  Maybe a scrape on the shin, but like a guy in the shoes of everyone else, facing problems we’re all facing, wouldn’t he be the best to represent us?  Maybe it’s just the news or something and there’s a crap ton of average joes in congress but it just doesn’t sound like it, but like, if all these “well educated folk” who apparently have all the hindsight in the world but no ESP to predict what’s gonna happen, maybe we need some people who are more “I don’t have all the answers, but hell I’ll give it my best shot,” cause we you’re on the verge of losing everything, and the guy who’s trying his best to get you out of the situation will lose everything at the same time as you, doesn’t he seem like he’s trying more?  (and maybe, there should be some advance vote or something lol, like when you vote for a president, it’s your average joe, but then!  if they win they go through all the economics and whatevers courses for stuff they need to know as president ya know?).  And no I’m not a communist x.x, I just took a history course and an economics course which I seem to not recall much about do to winter break…  “I was elected to lead, not to read”

SECOND!  Gay marriage.  I honestly use to think that allowing homosexuals the right to marry was some incredibly horrible thing.  Then for some reason I got mistaken for a gay guy multiple times (cause apparently I dress nicely o.O), and was chased in parking lots, confronted by random people o.O, and had very mean things said to be about how horrible of a person I was for being gay, o.O which I was confused about because I though being a gay guy meant that you were a man attracted to other men, apparently, being gay means you’re clean and like to look nice o.o.  BUT!  That’s not the main thing that changed my view point.  I honestly still think that homosexuality is wrong, and that it shouldn’t be promoted (heck I don’t think anything should be promoted, it’s why I don’t play checkers (jk jk lol, probably no one gets that =[ )).  But I know a few people who are gay/bi/lesbian, and there some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and talked to, and they don’t judge me for my beliefs, and they do all they can to respect them.  Which brings me to the main reason.  In Christian beliefs, God created man with free will (or so I was told).  God gave man the ability to choose to follow him, or choose not to.  And also, isn’t it God’s place to judge people x.x?  Maybe people are afraid of Sodom and Gomorrah happening again or something x.X, but then!  If you’re Christian, death is freedom isn’t it (don’t go start drinking the funny kool aid)?  Also, in the bible, most of the time when homosexuality is brought up as a sin, isn’t sex out of marriage brought up too?  Yet, the church doesn’t seem to frown upon this as much.  Oh but it’s ok if they’re old (ew…)…  Not really…  “Well Adam and Eve weren’t married” dude…  does the stress on Eve being his wife not mean anything?  It wasn’t “And Adam became one with his booty call” or like “And Adam and his girlfriend became one” or “And Adam became one with his friend with benefits” NO! Adam and his wife gosh.  Most of the time when there’s a bible verse about homosexuality being a sin, around the same part there’s a part about “no sex out of marriage.”  But it’s become more acceptable by the church, as have many things the bible has said is bad.  Don’t charge interest.  Did you know that the Muslims are the only banks that don’t charge interest, and that a lot of people slap “Christian” labels on themselves in order to rip off people, “Christian” is seen as a “trust me” label a lot of times, so much so that… I honestly trust people more who don’t claim to be anything over someone who claims to be “Christian,” and it’s really weird cause I’m Christian O.O;;.  I think it’s mainly because of so many “Christians” chasing people away from God and stuff, or maybe being lied to by so many “Christian Scholars” (Mr. Hovind and Mr. Wyatt oops, I mean Dr.  Wait…  I don’t think those were real Ph Ds  my bad), or meeting “Christians” that use and extort everyone around them, maybe, just maybe, stuff like that gives Christian a negative feeling to it (and maybe visiting a church where the pastor said you should beat your children frequently so they never have the urge to do something bad…).  But I feel that people who don’t claim to be “Christian” come off as more honest than those that do.  But then again if someone tries cheating you out of your money, well, he’s just a jerk, but when someone who claims to be “Christian” tries it… well you better watch out for those “Christians.”  So…  who knows, maybe it’s just so many negative things done in the name of Christianity.  Also, why is it if you ask the wrong questions at church, you’re labeled as evil?  or like… someone trying to reek havoc among the church?  When all you were doing was asking a question.  I have atheist friends that are more tolerant of my questions and will actually help me do some searching to find out about them.  But in the Christian community I throw up a red flag?  Also x.X, why is it some questions you’ll never get a straight forward answer from people, or you get an answer far from your question?  I guess that’s not just a Christian thing, but I don’t believe in predestination and I can’t really accept it x.x, yet so many people tell me that’s how it is o.o, which honestly, I find this whole thing of existence pointless then.  If everything is already predetermined, everything you do, everything that happens and such.  Sure, you had the free will, but it was already known, I can take that.  But then there’s no point…  No point in this middle part called life.  Just end it, send the people to hell who would have gone anyways, and the people to heaven that would go to heaven.  First off, it would be the same thing.  Second off, it would be much nicer than actually letting me know people who no matter what I do would be condemned to hell and actually caring.  But yeah, I don’t like getting evil looks, just because I asked something I didn’t understand, and I don’t like being sushed or evil glared at just because I wanted to extend my knowledge in a shared belief, and I’m sorry I feel more comfortable in a room with peers than one on one with people who look at me as prey, in all honesty, why do older people do that?  They come at you, take you aside, and act like they’re trying to help you or what not, but the looks on their faces, they’re looking at you like that they could just try owning your mind right then and there.  And you all probably know what I’m talking about, that sinister smile they give you with that look in their eyes that your optimistic view of the world, just needs to be crushed (then again, a lot of people my age do that too x.x lol, but I can take them on better =P ).

Next!  Occults and other beliefs!  So…  A common asked question is the “If people don’t hear about Jesus and such, do they go to hell?”  And there’s a bunch of answers and all out there, and one I was told was the “God of the thumb” that like some guy knew that there was just too much going on and too much stuff that matched up (like gripping a banana) that there had to be a greater being that he called the God of his thumb or something like that o.O, and that he did his best to honor that god and such and it was his way of explaining God.  Which brings me to my other question.  If people don’t know about God and Jesus, and they try their best to honor their best interpretation of God, would they still go to hell?  Probably a lot of people would say no, but then, what if their belief carried on even when they heard about God and Jesus?  Would they now go to hell?  Yes?  No?  Hm…  How can you expect someone who’s family has followed their interpretation of God forever, who deeply respect and honor God to change their belief so easily?  One thing that struck me is in the bible, some of the references to God highly resemble ways that the Greek and Roman refer to Zeus.  Now maybe that’s not an up to date comparison for my question, but they had multiple gods to explain what I take is their view of seeing God, even though it may have been off, and they did there best to honor them.  Are they all in heaven or hell?  They also have a lot of stories that relate to biblical stories like the great flood and stuff.  Like, I know occults are bad and are easier to identify as more modern stuff that just seem odd…  I’m not saying all people who believe in a higher being are following the same God, just that…  If Christianity is right, but “Christians” or other reasons have chased people away from it, but those people believe and respect a higher authority to the best of their ability, is it fair to say they’re all going to hell, when it’s not their faults? x.x.  x.x;;  For some reason I feel evil glares staring at me and I haven’t even finished typing all this yet lol…  Someone’s going to bring up Muslims with the whole same God different God fight complex thing x.x;;, I’m just bringing up my complex complaints and questions (or maybe very not complex who knows…).

THEN!  Living life… lol.  How do people know what they want to do?  I mean, during childhood and for some time after, you spend your time trying to meet the expectations of your parents and those around you.  And you aim for the goals set by your parents and keep it up with no real thought of self.  When you think you did well, well those setting the goals and the expectations ask you why you didn’t do better.  And then, it no longer is a good thing anymore, the thing that you thought was good.  It wasn’t good enough.  Then you aim higher.  And you keep doing this, and you try your best for years and years till you find out it’s never good enough.  Then sometime randomly, it’s good enough.  But after years of things not being good enough, you can’t accept that it’s good enough, and that you yourself, will never be good enough.  But then you’re just a pessimist.  But wasn’t that how it was when you were younger?  Like how can you be programmed as not good enough, and then be told that it’s good enough?  Living life the way you’re told to, then all of a sudden well, you should have been pulling the strings?  All life seems to be is some giant facade of trying to appear better than those around you, or to being saying the right things, or aiming on the path of the figures you wish to accept you.  So even when you should be making your own choices, you feel that your choices should go with whether or not the authoritative figures find them within their choices for you.  But then how are you really suppose to know what you want to do?  And then.  It’s actually your fault for going with how you were raised and now you’re a horrible person? x.x and if you speak up for what you want you’re a heartless uncaring person that’s completely selfish?  x.x Well what the heck…  Life sucks lol, what’s the point in living a life that’s not yours?  There is none is there?  And then!  Taking what a person says the wrong way is your fault, when they’re the one who raised you saying stuff that you interpret!?  How is that fair?  OH!  And if you’re not suicidal or declared mentally ill, you’re a jerk who’s totally selfish?  So either A, you try killing yourself, or B, you convince everyone you’re mentally ill to get tested for mental illness (which I think the main way of being declared mentally ill is like from birth or something, or from trying to kill yourself o.O, well that sounds ironic.), or C, you’re honestly just a selfish jerk.  Oh, but it gets better, not only is the way you interpret the things said embedded from things actually said to you, but it carries on to other people saying stuff to you!  So you’re a horrid person to everyone now x.x?  Well life’s just peachy lol…

FINALLY!  I don’t know x.x;; honestly there’s a lot more that I was going to rant on and question, but I feel much better having this stuff down.  I guess that means I should sleep.  And…  Probably expect to be in a lot of trouble till I vanish…  And if anyone does read this whole thing…  I’m honestly impressed.

How to run a club, business, and country?!

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

So, last night I went to the RAFT (Robotics at Florida Tech) meeting, and they’re cracking down to participate in a competition where the participants build a submarine like ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle).  We were looking at the costs of parts and the paper work needed to be filled out for the competition (we need to ask the school for funding, all while trying to get everything set for the competition).  When they saw the things need, the first thing I heard was “WE DON’T NEED THE 200 POINTS!!!”  I immediately looked for what they were talking about (cause I was playing on my computer waiting for a friend to sign online), apparently 200 points of the competition is documents (Technical papers on what you built, why you build it that way etc, a poster, flyers, and some other stuff).  Immediately the club president had the ultimate solution, “We just need to get four girls to join!”  I wanted to burst out laughing, because that’s what most clubs think or say as a solution to everything, “We need more members!”, “Well, if we just got a few hot girls to join, guys would join not even caring what the clubs about.”  (The documents is because guys “are bad (really we just hate to)” write up documents, while girls are amazing at it [probably because girls are naturally more organized than guys (most of the time)]).  So this comes to the first rule of running a club (and probably the only rule that most people follow):

  • Get girl(s) to join!  They attract male members to force into [slave] labor, attract other females (women travel in packs… like wolves!), and are good at doing paper work (so make them secretaries and managers)

Another thing to get members and keep a club from dying, is have activities.  In robotics, they build robots, in ACM they had game parties and visits to EA, in paintball they play paintball, in chess, they play chess and have a ranking system of members (this was back in middle and elementary school).  Worse come to worse, have club meetings in cool places!  Who doesn’t want to go out to the beach and tan eating grilled foods talking about [insert club interest here]?  That brings up the second rule:

  • Do fun stuff

This next part I guess is a sub-rule to rule one, but get funding!  If you don’t know how much you need, look at what you’re planning to do, write it up, come up with what you need (girls are well organized and good money spenders at estimating costs).  Think of events, think of supplies need for those, when, why, people don’t throw money at something and expect nothing (unless you’re uber rich and can do that).  So rule three is:

  • Money. money, money, so get funding, and know how much you need to ask for.

And that’s pretty much the main parts of running a club from what I’ve seen, other than have a President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Secretary of Defense, and a banana boy.

My comments on this…  First off, men (which I sadly fall under the category) have one tracked minds, girls give purpose, reason, and are needed for all types of events (Does football really need cheerleaders?  Not really, but it draws attention, like high school pep rallies, do you get excited for a bunch of guys jumping and screaming?  No, only girls can do that [jump up and down screaming making people excited]).  Secondly, clubs can be about anything, but if they do something of the common interest [video games] more people show up than you knew were in the club.  Next thing I noticed is most men are womanizers (very sad, pisses me off, but true), when I show up to a club meeting, I don’t want to hear a guy talk about how he can’t donate blood cause he’s been with an African American girl (what the heck does that have to do with donating blood anyways?  I think it was just an attention thing), or about how he can’t be friends with girls cause he just happens to find a bed anywhere he goes (yes…  Macy’s home goods has premade beds, but they’re not for testing), or about how he doesn’t know Asian girls cause he “has never had Asian.”  From this, I conclude, that if I ever have a daughter, she is wearing a mask, a huge sweater, baggy pants, gloves, rain boots, and a paper bag, her whole life!  Cause I do not want men/boys like that trying to hit on her!  I don’t know what the issue is, if every guy has a jerk-hole gene in them and just some broke theirs or have “self-control” (< very good to have), but in all honesty, people have feelings, people are people, don’t use them.  Also, (so I’m not only bashing my own gender) women also need to slow down a bit.  If you know a guy is a bad guy (or have someone trying to tell you he’s a bad guy) then he’s a bad guy!  If he’s dating you, and four other girls, maybe, you’ should get out of that.  Also, I’ve been told some girls go into a relationship knowing they’re being used, because they’re curious x.x, well curiosity killed the cat, and got a monkey stuck with a man in a funny yellow had (oh you try acting like you don’t know what’s going on there, but you do!).  If everyone was honest about their intentions, then things would definitely work out better, instead of saying “I love you.”  Tell the person what you really want to say, “I want to get in your pants”, “I’m only dating you just to have fun”, “I want you to buy me clothes”, “I thought you’d look good to show off to friends”, “No one else would talk to me”, “I’m trying to sleep with 40 women before the end of the year”, “I’m looking to settle down, and I’d like to be with you for the rest of my life”, “I need you and I hope you need me too”, “You’re a good cook”, “I love you.”  If everyone was honest with what they were expecting, then things would be better I think, we could put this into political issues instead of “I want our nations to be good friends in this tough time”, how about, “Please save my ass”, “I’m hoping for cheaper oil”, “Your women are hotter than ours, we wish to import”, “I’m only friends with you in hopes of being friends with [enter country here]”, “I really believe that our nations together can better the world”, stop with all the lying, when talking to the public “We are doing the best to rescue the economy”, how about, “Dang dudes… You’re screwed”, “Find a dumpster fast”, “I hope you poop money”, “This will only work if everyone does what I say.”  Stop lying!  Tell the truth, that’s all there is, why is lying a sin?  Cause it screws everyone over.  Say what you mean, only if you mean it.  Love is suppose to be unconditional, meaning no conditions required!  If it’s conditional, state you conditions!  “I love you, as long as you do my laundry [or other required task].”  In all honesty jerk guys, and jerk girls, lying and saying crap they don’t mean is breaking good people!  You are ruining people, the potential they had, and are ruining the lives they could have had!  You are taking people who are discovering themselves, and basically calling them worthless trash with what you are doing to them.  So stop it, back off, and if you hurt someone I care about, I’ll kill you, or severely hospitalize you, and that’s not a threat, it’s a promise, so stop screwing around.

Next thought, a company can fire employees that don’t do their job, correct?  Then who’s there to manage the higher ups?  It’s a crime to embezzle a company right?  Then aren’t all these companies that are going out of business with all their executives embezzling money?  I mean, if every loses everything, but the executive, then I believe that something is wrong.  And AIG, announcing a bonus for their executives after they get bailout money from the government a form of embezzlement?  “To steal or misappropriate money that one has been trusted with” – Definition.  To me, that means, if a group of people come out filthy rich from their company (or the company they work for) going out of business, or whatever, they are embezzling money.  “Well I made the money,”  well, people put money into your stocks in hopes of it going higher, meaning, they trusted you with their money, and you failed them by handling the money wrong.  People pay for your product, and it isn’t what you say it was, you were given money for a service, but failed to provide it, you’re managing money wrong.  Misappropriate – “To use something wrongly.”  That doesn’t just mean, taking the money and running, that means, putting money in the wrong areas.  People believe that the government shouldn’t mess with businesses and stuff, and that’s why we’re a capitalist nation, and by stepping out and giving bailout money to a company we are stepping on socialism, and if they can’t handle doing what they need to do with that money, then maybe the government needs to take it a step further, and make the company do what they have to do (zomg!  Communism!  The company no longer is privately owned, but owned by the state, which in America is controlled by the people for the people!).  Even though people are against communism, in drastic times calls for drastic measures, and people need to start doing what they say they’re doing, or we need to appoint a “Secretary of Snitching” who will go out and snitch on companies failing at their jobs, because they are embezzling money (which we can see actually means “To screw up with money”).

Random thought, if it costs too much to kill a prisoner on death row, I believe we need to bring back gladiator games.  It will be cheaper, most cost effective, and entertaining for the masses that go see it (humans are naturally attracted to violence, so they will come!).  This will also help stimulate the economy somehow with the circulation of money to somewhere, getting sponsorships for prison teams (“Death Row Prisoner DJ McPhillin wears Nike’s and loves to listen to his iPod as he runs through slaughtering the other team with his Sword specially made by Sony”).  I also think it would be interesting to see what an executive who caused hundreds of people to be jobless and steal millions of dollars would do against a psycho cereal killed in the arena (but that might just be me).

War o(of)n Ter(Windows)ror

So over this weekend, I decided to push my luck (yet again…) at running Windows Vista and Leopard on my MacBook (If you remember from a long time ago, I use to have Windows XP, Ubuntu, and Leopard running all together, but I ran into a few bumps and lost that set up leaving only Ubuntu and Leopard [Windows lost a well fought battle against the Ubuntu upgrade, after Ubuntu took a low blow at XP by adding a hidden partition for swap space behind my back (I still have no idea how, it just appeared like magic!)].  After about two weeks without Windows (actually, the finding of a homework assignment that required Windows), I found I was very screwed without a version of Windows on my computer.  So this weekend, I decided that since it is spring break (a really really long weekend) that I would attempt to wipe my hard drive (completely), install Leopard, and then dual boot Leopard and Windows (the easy and non void of warrantee way) using boot camp.  Wipe, went fine, perfect, crystal smooth (I don’t even know if that’s a phrase but I’m using it).  Then boot camp, made a windows partition just fine.  Then I installed the drivers for windows to use all the MacBook features…  That’s when it all went down hill.  I could not install any Microsoft product after installing those drivers (I believed Windows was trying to fight dirty this time in a form of mass suicide).  This struck me hard in the head and got me really heated up!  I decided that this time, I would play rough, and shatter this window and mix it into apple sauce and feed it to the homeless kittens by the school (ok… not really, but it has crossed my mind).  I decided to use multiple versions of Windows to test this bug (yes… it was a bug, if it doesn’t work, it’s buggy).  XP, same thing happened, Vista, happened again, Windows 7 Ultimate (ULTIMATE!!!!)  it broke too.  Looking at the results, I became very flustered…  “Why could I run Windows on here before?”  “Why can’t I now?”  I decided to look deeper into the message that Windows was trying to send me… “Error 1923:  Something something Administrator cannot perform Administrator tasks cause Windows hates (HATES) you!!!”  I then decided to resort to the last (my last resort?), I googled this error code (but google is not a verb!).  The first answer I received was from Microsoft (“We still hate you!!!”), “This error means you didn’t fully uninstall Office Beta”  I started getting mad, “I NEVER INSTALLED OFFICE BETA!!!”  It gave me no solutions, so I posted feed back “No, this was not helpful… At all, please make products that work.  (I was on fire, almost literally)”  I then went back to the google page and looked at other people who had the same issue, none of them had it solved, I was nearly hopeless, then I saw live search (Microsofts version of google that looks way harder to follow) and searched it in there.  Amazingly, the results were different than googles (the pages were more Microsoft has seen your error before)!  But non of the errors were similar to mine, because I never installed office beta.  I then decided to look at a post from seven years ago that seemed more relevant that the more recent problems (Windows, as we all know, is old windows + some new stuff = old bugs with new looks [like a fly that glows… fire fly!]).  This post was just like the old one saying that I had to reinstall Office beta, and then uninstall and reinstall (I still wondered where my beta was o.o;; ).  I scrolled down the page further, and found another listing of reasons for the bug (but with no known solution) HORA! I found it (eureka?), there were two running processes that relied on some Microsoft stuff that needed to be changed for any Microsoft product to be installed I looked at my process list and there they were!  So I ended them painfully, problem didn’t fix…  I uninstalled the app and tried again… Problem still there…  I finally reinstalled Windows and installed my apps and then tried installing the problem app (problem child ^.^ ), it broke my keyboard and mouse…  I was overwhelmed wondering how to fix it, I thought to myself and started debating with my evil dark side who wanted to smash the computer in half and just buy a new one (which I mildly agreed with but didn’t do) and we decided on reinstalling Windows again.  This time we decided instead of going with install all the boot camp stuff (which boot camp did on it’s own) we would only install the drivers for the devices we wanted to work (which was pretty much everything).  To do this we decided to run all the separate executables on the Leopard DVD in the Drivers Vista looking section with a select few being avoided.  After installing these and force loading a few drivers, everything worked!  Windows didn’t die, stuff functioned right, and my evil side decided to subside admitting defeat to me (again)!  So what was causing the bug you fellow Windows on Mac users ask?  The intel mobile graphics accelerator was causing the problem, so installing everything I could but that (and some annoying install “Apple apps please”) it all came together nicely.  The War on Win(Terror)dows still continues, and we await your next challenge (which should have been “Code name Windows 007”)!

Please excuse this post for being extra nerdy and bias against Windows and it’s followers, just going through all this trouble to be able to use Windows Live Messenger (and Office) to its fullest I think is bias against Apple users and Linux users, and this fight shall never end till we all merge in to Leonudows (sounds like a food dish to me)!
