Old People Attitude…
Monday, January 26th, 2009So, this past weekend, I found out that I received a ticket for not registering my parking x.x… So I went to the security office to register and pay off the ticket. The lady there just wouldn’t let me pay it x.x “Please fill out an appeal form,” “I missed the deadline to appeal, I’d just like to pay it off,” “You do know that you had a leniency period to appeal it, I don’t see why you didn’t come sooner,” “I didn’t find out about the ticket till this weekend. The ticket was issued Tuesday, so I cannot appeal it, can I just pay it off.” ”Please fill out the appeal form at either side of the desk.” OMG x.x I can’t appeal it according to the deadline with the date the ticket was issued, there’s a $5 processing fee if they don’t wave or lower the ticket value, and they can raise the value if they want to… I don’t want to pay extra money when I was willing to pay off the ticket up front, and if I have to, I’m so asking that lady for her payment half… But that wasn’t the worst of it. I went down to student accounting to deposit money in my student account to pay for the registration. I walked into the building and already had snobby remarks “Don’t rush me, I’ll get to you when I’m done with this person.” ”Uh… ok…” I waited for her to finish. “Can I use a credit or debit -” “Visa isn’t accepted anywhere on campus.” Wow… Could have sworn I’ve bought food and school supplies using this card x.x. “I guess I’ll go to the ATM and come back” “Sure, you should do that.” x.x I don’t know what crawled up the lady’s rear and died, I think it was her heart… So I went to the ATM and got out $60 (you had to enter in multiples of $20, and I thought some pocket money would be nice, and the car registration was $50). I went back to the Accounting Office. The lady wasn’t at her window she was gossiping in the back with her friend, and didn’t come till someone else walked through the door and made some noise, “I’ll be there in a few,” x.x the lady was very rude. ”Hi can I add $50 to my student account? *puts three $20′s on the counter*” ”Yes, so student account?” ”Yes.” ”Not panther cash?” ”Not panther, $50 on my student account.” ”Ok.” She put the money in the desk typed up some stuff went to the back to get the receipt. ”Um… I asked for $50 on my account, can I have my change?” ”What?! I put $60 on your student account.” ”Oh, is there a way you can fix that?” ”No, unless you want me to reverse the transaction, put on $50, and give you your $10.” ”Um…” ”Do you really want to create that big mess of things?! Do you really need that $10!?” OMG!!! It was her mistake, not mine! And she’s giving me attitude cause she won’t listen to me cause she’s too busy gossiping with her friend about how she forgot to log off the computer (which they considered a computer glitch) and now she doesn’t want to fix her error?! And it’s my fault now?! ”Well do you really need that $10!?” Well do you really need this job?! Do you really need your brain!? Cause it appears to me you’re not using it! And you seem fine without a heart (oh wait she still has it, it’s just dead in her rear)! I wanted to give that lady balls so I could kick them! ”Well I guess I really don’t need the $10…” x.x I really hate old people, specially when they’re so rude and don’t do their jobs right, and don’t listen. She picked a job where she interacts with people. If a person at a fast food restaurant rings you up wrong they’ll go back and redo the whole order to fix it. If a waiter makes a mistake and gives you sweet tea instead of unsweet they will replace your drink for you it’s not “Well do you really need unsweet tea?!” ”Yes… I’m diabetic…” (ok, I’m not, but my dad is, and they’ve done this to him, not the attitude part, but the sweet and unsweet thing, and they’re ok with fixing it). And for her to go on the computer and type +$10 on the account and hand me my $10 I don’t think is that hard. ”Do you really need that $10?!” YES I DO, I just gave $15 to some homeless lady so she could take care of her son (which I never saw so now I think I was conned out of $15 when she only asked for $12 x.x, but I can’t help it T.T sad stories get to me T.T). And maybe the next homeless person I meet will ask for $5 and I can surprise them with a $10 (SURPRISE! DOUBLE WHAT YOU EXPECTED! WHAT NOW!!!). But no, that lady just cheated the homeless out of $10, I hope you’re happy lady. And I hope Santa gives you what you deserve! (and if you’re thinking coal you’re way off, Santa’s giving her a heart and insight so she can feel the pain of what she did!) She reminds me of the doctor I had in the E.R. ”So why did you eat the shrimp if you knew you were allergic?” ”I took out the shrimp, I told my mom I’d have an allergic reaction and she started crying saying I don’t trust her, and out of the goodness of my heart, I ate it to make her happy.” ”Well aren’t you a little retard?” ”Yes… And I can see you donated your heart to science… The deep freeze department of science.” ”Well I hope I don’t have to see you in here again.” ”I’m glad we can agree on something.” Why are old people so mean and rude. Not like the really old people (they’re really nice). But like the old but not old old people. I think it’s hit them that A. They will never get married now B. They can never have kids now C. They found out their whole life was meaningless and without purpose and this kids life is more meaningful than theirs, or D. Their debt caught up with them before they died and now they work a job that a monkey could do better than them and they are easily replaceable. But then again I’ve met people who found this stuff out and they’re still nice. So, I believe they have no reason to be mean!!! T.T and I hope they find their hearts soon! So they will know what they did! And feel it!
